Before i started drawing my issue of Spera vol.3, Josh asked me to design this water spirit that showed up in my issue and plays a bigger role further on the volume.
So i made these for the next artist to work off.

The wonderful world of SPERA is Created & written by my buddy Josh Tierney and this issue is drawn by me, with cover duties by the ever-awesome Hannah Christenson.

ziqiqum:

Decided to make a little purchase from Archaia this weekend.

Fun fact: Spera doesn’t just look good, it smells amazing.

Little known fact: here at Archaia, in order to fully envelop the reader, we dip each book into a unique, hand-selected compilation of herbs, spices, and oils before sending them to you! Olfactory involvement is crucial to understanding many of Archaia’s titles.

Better known fact: We’re *totally* kidding. Hope you enjoy those books, though!

David Petersen (aka the guy who does Mouse Guard) did an awesome little thing.

Corgi Guard - possible spin-off? We’d definitely read that!

Gary (Waerloga69) gives us his thoughts on this existential excursion by Fabien Vehlmann & Gwen De Bonneval, ‘Last Days Of An Immortal’, out in stores from Archaia Entertainment

Thanks to Geeks of Doom for their review of Last Days of an Immortal.

Here’s an excerpt from their review below:

Have you ever chosen a book because of the title? I have told folks for years that they should never do that or, even worse, judge a book by it’s cover. Yet, this time through, I did just that. Though, you have to admit,Last Days of an Immortal is a pretty catchy name. Being a total shot in the dark, I had zero expectations for this comic. Talk about being surprised.

To be perfectly honest, I had never heard ofFabien Vehlmann or Gwen De Bonneval, but I am very familiar with Archaia Entertainment. And after reading the synopsis on the back, I realized I had received a science fiction graphic novel. Now, I’m not a huge sci-fi guy but I do have some love for the genre, so I plunged in head first.

Head on over to THEIR SITE to read the rest!

If you are going to read (or buy) only one comic in the next 12 months, then look no further - TALE OF SAND is the one to pick up. Here’s a preview.

        image(click on image to enlarge)

Tale of Sand is the story of Mac, who finds himself on a “mission” - the why and what and how of this mission is unknown to him (and to us). Let’s just say he gets pulled into it. But once he sets off (armed with a rucksack filled with curious objects, a map he cannot trust and a cigarette he never seems to be able to get lit), things go wild, wild, WILD (beyond anything you could expect or imagine!)
